Disclaimers:
- Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
- Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
- Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.
- Professional installation is recommended.
Autocross, track days or a canyon road, the 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 rewards a driver who stays located in the seat. The factory seat's bolsters and foam give up long before the chassis does. Swapping to an aftermarket bucket is one of the most effective upgrades you can make, provided the mount is as rigid as the seat. This is the low-mount version, designed to put the seat as low as possible without modifying the floor. That's the right choice when helmet clearance or a lower hip point matters most.
Sparco 600 Series seat bases pick up the factory seat mounts on the vehicle's floor and give your seat a flat, rigid mounting surface. Each base is vehicle-specific and a 100% bolt-in installation, so there's no cutting, welding or drilling into the floor.
It's built from 3/16" steel for stiffness and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. The Sparco top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. There's also a wide platform for direct side-mount installation (drilling required), which drops the seat as low as possible in a race car.
This is the driver/left base, sold individually. Order the passenger side separately for a matched pair. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
