Planted Seat Bracket - Subaru Legacy / Outback (2010-2014) - Driver/Left
This Planted driver-side bracket gives the 2010-2014 Subaru Legacy / Outback a rigid, vehicle-specific base for an aftermarket seat, with no floor modification. Construction is 3/16" laser-cut steel, hand-welded and powder-coated black, with Standard slider patterns. It's built for trail, desert and overland rigs.

- Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
- Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
- Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

A built 2010-2014 Subaru Legacy / Outback can cover terrain the factory seat was never designed for. Whether it's a trail rig, a prerunner or an overland build, a proper aftermarket seat reduces fatigue and keeps you in place over rough ground. It needs a mount that won't flex or loosen.
Rather than working from a drawing, Planted develops each bracket on the car itself. The result bolts to the factory seat mounting points with no floor modification. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA and finished in black powder coat, and every unit is checked at three quality-control stages.
The mounting surface accepts sliders from Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Sabelt, Racetech, Status Racing and more. It's the Standard bolt pattern, so the Recaro pattern is included, while wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole per slider elongated by 1/8". Bride sliders usually need their feet removed and a new pattern drilled. Spare material also allows direct mounting without sliders.
This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. The passenger side is SB135PA. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
