Planted Seat Bracket - Nissan 350Z (2003-2008, High Mount) - Driver/Left
The Planted high-mount (tall) driver bracket for the 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z sits about an inch above Planted's low driver bracket. That brings the driver's seat closer to the height of the standard passenger brackets. It is laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded and pre-slotted for most major slider patterns.

Disclaimers:
- Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
- Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
- Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.
- Professional installation is recommended.
The 350Z has one of the more complicated seat-bracket lineups Planted offers. The passenger floor has a large hump and differs between automatic and manual cars, so there are six brackets across the two sides. This is the tall driver bracket. It sits roughly one inch higher than the low driver bracket (SB015DR) so the driver's seat more closely matches the height of Planted's standard passenger brackets.
That extra height is the right call for shorter drivers who want better sightlines over the cowl, and for street cars where a symmetrical look matters. If you're chasing helmet clearance or the lowest possible hip point, go with the low driver bracket instead.
Like every Planted application, it's developed on the car itself. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration and finished in black powder coat, and each one goes through three quality-control checks. The top is pre-slotted for Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Racetech and most other major slider patterns. There's extra material for drilling a custom pattern or for mounting a side-mount seat directly without sliders.
This is the driver/left side, sold individually. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the Z's cabin before ordering, and plan for possible airbag or occupancy warning lights. Professional installation is recommended.
