Planted Seat Bracket - Ford Focus (2008-2011) - Driver/Left
Mount an aftermarket seat in the 2008-2011 Ford Focus with this Planted driver-side bracket, built to the car's actual floor. It is 3/16" hand-welded steel with a black powder coat, pre-slotted for most major sliders. It's a solid foundation for autocross, track-day and street builds.

- Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
- Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
- Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

The 2008-2011 Ford Focus has a loyal following among drivers who use their cars properly, and a real seat is part of almost every serious build. The factory seat tracks were never designed to carry a bucket, and fabricating a mount wastes time and rarely ends up square.
Rather than working from a drawing, Planted develops each bracket on the car itself. The result bolts to the factory seat mounting points with no floor modification. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA and finished in black powder coat, and every unit is checked at three quality-control stages.
Pre-slotted hole patterns cover most major slider brands, including Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo and NRG. This Standard bolt-pattern version includes the Recaro pattern. Wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole on each slider elongated by 1/8". If you'd rather delete the sliders to lower the seat, there's room to drill for a direct mount or side mounts.
This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. The passenger side is SB114PA. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
