• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

A track-prepped F430 usually ends up with buckets on both sides, especially if you run a passenger for coaching or instruction. Planted's passenger bracket bolts into the factory mounting points and gives that second seat the same rigid base as the driver side.

Every Planted application is developed against the real vehicle floor. The bracket is laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration and finished in black powder coat. Three quality-control checks happen before it leaves the shop.

The slots accept the slider patterns used by Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, Racetech and most other major seat brands. There's spare material for drilling a less common pattern or for a direct side-mount install without sliders. This is the Standard bolt-pattern bracket, so it includes the Recaro slider pattern. Wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole on each slider elongated by 1/8". Bride sliders typically need their feet removed and a new pattern drilled.

This is the passenger/right bracket only. Order SB155DR for the driver side. Confirm that your seat fits the F430's passenger footwell and door aperture, and plan for occupancy or airbag sensor warnings once the factory seat is out. Professional installation is recommended.
