• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

The standard F430 seat is comfortable on the road, but it gives up support once you're linking fast corners on track. Swapping to a proper bucket starts with a solid mount. Planted's F430 bracket bolts into the factory driver-side mounting points so the floor stays untouched.

Planted builds each application on the vehicle itself, and the F430's low, narrow cockpit makes that fit especially important. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration and powder-coated black. It passes three quality-control stages before it ships.

The mounting surface is pre-slotted for Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Sabelt, Racetech and other major slider patterns. There's extra material if you want to drill a custom pattern, or to bolt a side-mount seat or side mounts directly and run without sliders. That's the usual route when you're chasing every bit of headroom with a helmet on.

This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. The passenger side is SB155PA. The F430's cabin is tight, so confirm your seat's shell width and height before ordering. Expect warning indicators once the factory seat and its sensors are removed. Professional installation is recommended.
