• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

The SR II Viper puts a lot of torque through a chassis with very little electronic help, so staying located in the seat matters. The factory seat isn't built for sustained lateral load. Planted's driver-side bracket lets you install a proper bucket using the factory mounting points.

Each Planted application is developed against the actual vehicle floor, so the bracket bolts in without drilling or shims. It's laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration and powder-coated black, and it goes through three quality-control checks before shipping.

The mounting surface is pre-slotted for Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, Racetech and other major slider patterns. There's extra material to drill a less common pattern, or to direct-mount a side-mount seat and delete the sliders. That's worth considering in a car where helmet clearance under the roof or hardtop is tight.

This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. Order SB132PA for the passenger side. Confirm your seat's width against the Viper's wide sill and center tunnel before ordering. Professional installation is recommended.
