• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Running an aftermarket seat on one side only leaves the cabin looking half-finished, and a passenger seat that sits on flimsy adapters is a liability. This Planted bracket completes the pair for the MX83 Cressida. It bolts to the factory passenger-side floor points and gives the seat a rigid base.

Planted develops each application on the car itself, using the real floor as the reference. That's why the brackets bolt in rather than needing shims or slotting. Construction is 3/16" laser-cut steel, hand-welded for full penetration and finished in black powder coat. Each bracket goes through three quality-control checks.

The bracket is pre-slotted for the slider patterns used by Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG and others. Leftover material leaves room to drill a less common pattern, or to mount a side-mount seat directly without sliders. Bride sliders generally need their vehicle-specific feet removed and a fresh pattern drilled.

This is the passenger/right bracket only. The driver side is SB123DR. Confirm that your seat will physically fit the Cressida's passenger footwell and door opening before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger occupancy or airbag warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
