• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

The MX83 Cressida has a real following among swap builders, and the factory seat is usually the first thing to go. Planted's driver-side bracket gives you a vehicle-specific base that picks up the Cressida's floor mounting points. You don't have to fabricate a mount or cut into the floor pan.

Planted builds each bracket against the actual vehicle floor rather than a drawing. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration and finished in black powder coat. Every unit passes three rounds of quality control before it ships.

The top surface is pre-slotted for the slider patterns used by Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Racetech and most other major seat makers. Bride sliders normally need their feet removed and a new pattern drilled. This is the Standard bolt-pattern bracket, so it includes the Recaro slider pattern. Wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole on each slider elongated by 1/8". There's extra material on the bracket if you want to drill your own pattern, or to bolt a side-mount seat or side mounts directly and run without sliders.

This listing is the driver/left bracket only. Order SB123PA for the passenger side. Check your seat's width and height against the Cressida's cabin before ordering, and budget for an airbag or occupancy sensor resistor if your warning lights come on. Professional installation is recommended.
