• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Sometimes a seat is almost right, and a full inch of lift is too much. The Planted 1/4" Seat Mounting Spacer handles the small adjustments. It can clear a slider latch that's rubbing, level a seat that sits a touch nose-down, or lift the driver just enough to see over the cowl.

The spacer is made from 1/4" aluminum and powder-coated black. It's sized to the length and width of a Recaro non-tabbed slider and sits between the slider and the seat bracket, so it disappears into the install rather than looking like an add-on. Aluminum keeps weight to a minimum.

Because the stack gets 1/4" taller, check that your existing slider bolts still have full thread engagement, and step up a size if they don't. For larger height changes, Planted's steel Seat Spacer Kits come in 1", 1.5" and 2" versions.

Once you've changed seat height, re-check helmet clearance and your harness shoulder-belt angle before the car goes back on track.
