Most side-mount racing seats don't come with the hardware to attach the side mounts to the shell. The Planted Side Mount Hardware Kit fills that gap.
It includes 4 button head cap screws (M8 x 1.25, 25mm long) and 4 fender washers. The fender washers spread the clamping load across the seat shell's mounting points, which matters on fiberglass and composite shells, where a small standard washer can pull into the shell under load.
Use it to attach Planted side mounts, or other side mounts with compatible slots, to your seat. Pair it with the Planted Seat Hardware Kit to bolt the side mounts to your sliders or seat bracket.
Before final tightening, set the seat height and angle you want using the slots in the side mounts. Confirm full thread engagement in the seat's mounting inserts, then torque the screws and re-check them after the first session or drive.
