• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

If you run HPDE with an instructor riding along, or just want the cabin to look finished, a matching passenger bucket completes the job. Planted's passenger bracket for the second-gen BRZ and GR86 bolts to the factory floor points and gives the seat the same rigid foundation as the driver's side.

Every Planted application starts with the car in the shop, using the actual floor as the reference. That's why the brackets bolt in without shimming. This one is laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration, powder-coated black and inspected at three quality-control stages.

It's pre-slotted for Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, Racetech and most other major slider patterns. The spare material leaves room to drill a less common pattern or to direct-mount a side-mount seat. This is the Standard bolt-pattern bracket, so it includes the Recaro slider pattern. Wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole on each slider elongated by 1/8". Bride sliders typically need their feet removed and a fresh pattern drilled.

This is the passenger/right bracket, sold individually. Order SB392DR for the driver side. Confirm that your seat fits the cabin before ordering, and expect the passenger occupancy sensor warning once the factory seat is out. Professional installation is recommended.
