• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

A built JK can crawl over almost anything, but the factory seat stops being comfortable or supportive long before the trail gets serious. An aftermarket seat keeps you located on off-camber sections and at speed on washboard roads. Planted's driver-side bracket gives that seat a rigid, bolt-in foundation.

The bracket is developed against the actual JK floor, so it picks up the factory mounting points without cutting or welding. It's laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration, powder-coated black and checked at three stages of quality control. Stamped universal brackets flex. This one doesn't.

It's pre-slotted for Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, Racetech and most other major slider patterns. There's spare material to drill a less common pattern or to direct-mount a side-mount seat without sliders.

This listing is specific to the 2-door JK Wrangler, driver/left side, and it's sold individually. Confirm that your seat clears the JK's door opening and B-pillar before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag warnings. Professional installation is recommended.
