• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

The 488 has more grip and power than its factory road seats can comfortably support on track. A proper bucket keeps the driver located so inputs stay precise through high-load corners. Planted's driver-side bracket gives that seat a solid base that bolts into the factory mounting points without modifying the car.

Planted develops every application on the vehicle, using the real floor as the reference. That makes the fit especially important in a cockpit as tight as the 488's. The bracket is laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded for full weld penetration, powder-coated black and checked at three quality-control stages.

The top plate is pre-slotted for Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Sabelt, Racetech and other major slider patterns. The extra material lets you drill a custom pattern or mount a side-mount seat directly, dropping the sliders to recover headroom with a helmet on.

This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. Confirm your seat's shell dimensions against the 488's cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat and its sensors will likely trigger warning indicators. Professional installation is recommended.
