Chillout Systems Hose Rapid Release Mounts
The Chillout Systems Rapid Release Mounts are the car-side component of the Rapid Release dry break system — the fixed installation that stays in the car while drivers connect and disconnect with ease. Two mounting options are included in a single kit: a roll bar mount for cage-based installations and a flat surface mount for transmission tunnels, seats, or any suitable flat cockpit surface. Pair with the Rapid Release Shirt Handle (sold separately) to complete the system.

The Chillout Systems Rapid Release Mounts are the foundation of any Rapid Release driver cooling setup — the car-side installation that stays put while drivers connect and disconnect their cooling garments with a single press. Once installed, any driver running a compatible Rapid Release Shirt Handle can connect to the car instantly, without fumbling with hose fittings under the pressure of a race day pit stop or driver change.
The kit includes both mounting configurations Chillout offers, giving builders the flexibility to choose the best installation point for their specific cockpit. The roll bar mount clamps directly to the roll cage for a clean, secure attachment in cars with accessible cage tubing. The flat surface mount provides an alternative for installations where the cage isn't the ideal location — transmission tunnels, seat structures, or any other flat cockpit surface all work equally well.
Two 1/4" barbed quick-release fittings are included to complete the car-side connection, ensuring the mount is fully equipped for a finished, professional installation straight out of the box.
For teams running a shared car across multiple drivers, or endurance teams managing rapid driver changes, the Rapid Release Mounts establish the permanent infrastructure that makes the whole system work.
